Athol: Swirling water over coloured stones makes a delightful abstract picture. We also liked the way that it filled the frame.
Athol took this on a multi-shot setting. A fast speed was needed to capture the movement of dog and water.

Irene: Halong Bay. Nicely balanced composition with foreground interest.
We liked the glimpse of distant hills between the two rocks.

Irene: Back home to Scotland, with this image of clouds reflected in sea at Plockton.
Leighton: A huge ship in a bottle at Greenwich.
LM
Leighton: Interesting sky, rocks in the foreground, beautiful light and a lone dog
Birds in flight over sea.

Morag: Figure in red, diagonal lines of rocks - we loved it!
A grassy foreground leads us into a curving "river" and the sea.
